I am currently the Campus Director of Operations for a charter school in Atlanta, GA, where I've worked since 2011. My current role allows me to tap into both my Type A and Type B skills to balance structure and creativity to solve problems and create memorable programs and experiences for our scholars, families, and staff. What keeps me energized is having the freedom to think outside the box and tackle new challenges with, and for, the most amazing and dedicated people I know.
I am pursuing an MA/MBA in Design Leadership at Johns Hopkins/MICA, and after graduation, I hope to continue to make an impact in the lives of others. So… what’s next?
In my free time, I love to travel and explore different cultures. I developed a deep appreciation for discovering hidden gems off the beaten path while working for an airline. Travel, for me, is about the experience - meeting locals, trying new foods, and seeing the world from new perspectives.
While this portfolio may not capture every detail of my journey, I hope it conveys the essence of what drives my work each day. I deeply believe in my organization’s mission, and witnessing it in action motivates me to turn the “impossible” into possible. I set out to create something meaningful, and I did.
My portfolio gives you a good idea of how my professional background has shaped and molded me. I am thankful for the vast opportunities that have pushed and challenged me beyond what words or pictures could show. I have developed skills, managed a team of operational rockstars, started and ended entrepreneurial ventures, but most importantly, I have had the opportunity to lead with resilience, persistence, and passion.
I believe everything is possible.
